According to TVbytheNumbers, the finale episode of Big Brother 9 had the “highest percentage of overall DVR viewing occur on the same night that [they] have ever seen.” Basically, what this means is people who had DVR sets either watched the episode in its entirety at a different time period, or they used their rewind button to watch certain parts over and over again.

I’m not certain, but I believed the extra DVRing of the finale was used by some message forums to create a complete seating chart of the studio audience, including who they were wearing.
