A Daily Star article says that the new logo represents a “War and Order” theme that might involve some changes to the game. The article says,”it was a deliberate move to make the logo black, the colour of authority, and red, the colour of war.”

The article goes on to quote an insider source that said, “Big Brother knows that power corrupts. And this year’s game-playing will undoubtedly shatter the housemates’ hopes of an easy summer. The weaker links might be made leaders, while others may see their control vanish. Expect sparks to fly.”

According to InsideBigBrother.net the logo was designed by Daniel Eatock. The logo was one of three final designs choosen within “the eleventh hour.” Eatock has previously designed all the Big Brother UK Logos from Big Brother 2 onward.
