If you want to become a future Houseguest on Big Brother do not follow the example of this former finalist. Linda White told the media of her journey through the interview process. That’s a no-no. It’s been well known that if you put your name out there, whether on Big Brother websites or on local newspapers the casting will ban you from the show. They want their cast to be kept secret.
Here is a portion of the MetroWest Daily News Article:
When Linda White tried out for “Big Brother 9,” she did not expect to be a finalist nor to be flown to California to interview for a spot on the 10th season of the CBS reality show.
During casting in Boston for the show’s ninth season, White, 42, a lifelong Hudson residents, was chosen out of hundreds of hopefuls, but said she didn’t make it far into the process.
This year, however, while attempting for the second time to become a cast member, CBS executives told White she could bypass the casting interviews in Boston and was flown to California as one of the finalists for the 10th season, which premieres Sunday at 8 p.m. on CBS.
After 10 days in California, which White said were often nerve-wracking, the mother of two sons, ages 23 and 15, got the bad news that she didn’t make it onto the show.
