Welcome to the new design! I created this design way back in October when I last posted here and put on the back burner as other things in my life became a higher priority. Now that we are nearly 100 days away from the premiere of Big Brother 11 I thought I might as well get things rolling again.

I have many exciting new ideas that I’m going to implement this year so please return in the next couple of months and decide to choose RealityFire as your new Big Brother source.

While I was gone the site received 13,000 unapproved spam messages!  Jeesh! I had to go into the database manually to delete them all. Let that be a note to anyone else who doesn’t keep up with sites. I might have deleted some actual posts, so I am sorry if that happened.

What happened to the forums!?

There is no need for me to duplicate the success of other websites. So, I will be linking to a forum that I regularly participate in, Jokers Updates. I’ve come to know Jokerette and most of the Joker’s staff over the past year and think they deserve every damn user in the world. So go there, discuss away, then come back here for my insightful, witty, charming, and absolutely annoying commentary and news. Ok?

What has happened in the World of Big Brother since I last posted?

Ok, so I’ve had this rule forever. What the houseguests do in their private lives is their own business. I’m not a huge fan of gossip websites that stalk these average people after the show. I find it distasteful, and distracting. Sure there are rapid fanatic types who need their Chiara (Big Brother 3) updates, but seriously, enough is enough.

That being said here are a few things that former houseguests have said publically shared (paraphrasing horribly btw).

- Dan (Big Brother 10) is doing motivational speaking. He broke up with his girlfriend Monica. And there have been many innocent encounters with Keesha.

- Keesha (Big Brother 10) has an off again/on again relationship with her boyfriend. Not sure exactly what that is about. Also, her and Renny have had a falling out. Keesha solicited her fans to voter her as Hooters girl of the year.

-Renny (Big Brother 10 ) has tried to sell everything in her closet and her neighbor’s closet on ebay.

- Jerry (Big Brother 10 ) has throat cancer and is getting treatment. I pray for a speedy recovery for him!

- Steven (Big Brother 10) has visited Kuwait, and plans on visiting Iraq very soon.

- Memphis (Big Brother 10) traded his car in for money. If you didn’t hear the story basically CBS didn’t own the car, so they settled on a cash prize instead. He is still giving out signatures to people I guess.

- April and Bryan “Ollie” (Big Brother 10) are still a couple. They both live in Arizona.

Speaking of couples..

- Jen and Nick (Big Brother are still together too.

Big Brother Australia:

The update for the next season is Big Brother is this: There isn’t going to be one this year. As you know Ten ended the current adaptation of Big Brother. At the time the hosts and everyone involved said that Big Brother would eventually be back, just not for a couple of years. This may turn out to be true. The latest rumor is that there might be a Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack series that would debut in 2010.

Big Brother UK:

Jane Goody passed away due to cancer.  She was a contestant on three Big Brother series, two set in the UK and one in India. Her death was publicized on international news.

Every year there are rumors of Big Brother UK’s demise – and that holds true this year as well. Everyone involved is saying that this year will be the last, but that is yet to be seen. I’m still holding out hope that they will convert to a US format which would be more successful in the UK.

As for rumors for Big Brother 11… expect the unexpected and same mix of casting from Big Brother 10.

This season, for the most part the alliances in the house are all well-known. Keesha Smith blurted out to the whole house that she has an alliance with Libra Thompson, April Dowling, and Bryan Ollie. Jessie Godderz made it obvious he was aligned with Angie Swindell when he didn’t nominate her for eviction. Memphis Garrett and Michelle Costa have made their four person alliance known just by hanging out with Jessie and Angie for the better part of each day in the house. Keesha and Renny Martyn made their pairing obvious just by Renny sleeping inside the HoH room during Keesha’s HoH reign. Ollie and April made their alliance obvious by having an open showmance.

All these out in the open alliances makes them easy targets for the rest of the houseguests. However, there seems to be a secret alliance that is in the midst of forming.

Dan Gheesling has been smoothing his way into the good graces of the rest of the houseguests. He’s talked about his girlfriend, engagement rings, and has even formed a Swim Club at the Big Brother pool. All strategic When Keesha and Renny decided to sleep together in the head of household room Dan jumped at the opportunity to sleep on Keesha’s water bed next to Libra.

Each night this week Dan and Libra have talked in bed about non-gaming topics until last night when Libra began to question whether or not Dan was being truthful to the 7-person alliance in the house. Dan reaffirmed his position. He is being truthful and trustworthy to the alliance. They then began a trip down memory lane by bringing up all former successful secret alliances. Libra said that the most successful secret alliances are Guy/Girl alliances. Dan upped her up one and said that the most successful secret alliances are the unexpectant ones. Libra then said that Danielle (Big Brother 3), a married mother, had Jason (Big Brother 3), the christian photographer in her secret alliance and they went far. Dan asked if Jason was Catholic and they both giggled.

Could this be the beginning of a secret alliance? Time will tell!

Keesha Smith, this week’s Head of Household has had her suspicions of Jessie, Angie Swindell, Michelle Costa, and Memphis Garrett for quite sometime. She begun getting an inkling that those four were in sort of an alliance when Angie miraculously floated through Jessie’s HoH reign without a scratch. She’s also been aware that Angie and Memphis have been together often in the house. And that Jessie and Michelle have been inseparable. Both Memphis and Jessie approached Keesha separately about the reasons why Angie shouldn’t be on the block. They both said something about sticking to the plan, which was to nominate Dan and Jerry MacDonald. During Jessie’s conversation with Keesha he made a hard push to get Libra nominated instead of Angie.

Keesha reaffirmed her alliance with Libra Thompson and April Dowling. She told both of them that Jessie was pushing hard for Libra’s nomination. Those three made a pact that they will never allow anyone put doubt in their heads about each other. Keesha said she was for sure going to nominate Angie and Jessie, but she needed to make sure she had the votes to get Angie out of the house. Jerry was called up to the HOH and apologized to Libra and agreed that Angie should be booted. Ollie, who has an relationship/showmance with April, quickly oblidged. Dan was also called into the HoH and made the same pledge, he would vote out Angie.

Food Competition Results

The food competition was held earlier today. The houseguests competed as pairs and their goal was to win certain foods for the house. Because it was a house competition no one was placed on slop. Among the foods that the houseguests won were beer, pigs feet, bread, pumpernickel, raisins, chicken, broccoli, beef. The houseguests did not win Wine, which upset the girls.

Before the competition began Keesha Smith began campaigning for Steven Daigle to say inside the house. She was telling Libra Thompson and April Dowling that compared to Dan Gheesling, who was also nominated, Steven is more enjoyable. She said that Steven is her friend, he makes jokes, and easier to talk to than Dan.

Keesha was called into the Diary Room. April and Libra immediately began second guessing the things that Keesha was saying. They pieced together that keeping Steven in the game would be better for Keesha because of their friendship. That wouldn’t necessarily be a good move for Libra and April they figured.

They drew chips for the Power of Veto Competition. Dan selected Houseguests choice and choose Libra. Keesha and Michelle were also randomly selected from the bag. Jessie choose Jerry MacDonald to be the host of the competition.

Michelle won the Power of Veto, Steven and Dan were eliminated earlier on in the game. At some point Keesha said she was sorry to Steven which was overheard by some of the houseguests. Keesha came in second place.

For those who have been watching the feeds then you are well aware that the nominations are already in. We’ve also learned of a new secret alliance, and someone made the best move in Big Brother history.

Jessie Godderz, The Bodybuilder from Iowa won HoH on Wednesday’s live eviction show. After the live show went off the air Jessie was able to access his Head of Household bedroom. All the other houseguests except Steven Daigle went up to the room to congratulate Jessie and his win. Steven’s non-appearance seemed to have pissed Jessie off.

The feed watchers also were informed of a new secret alliance in the house. In the first hours of the show Memphis Garrett, Michelle Costa, Angie Swindell, and Jessie made an agreement to form an alliance. Like most alliances however, this one has had a rocky start. The rest of this alliance believed that the move Angie made in the final hours of week 1 to try and save Brian went against the better good of the alliance. Jessie couldn’t understand why she would do such a thing. Angie’s play in week 1 almost made her position in the alliance in jeopardy.

At the nomination ceremony Jessie nominated Steven and Dan Gheesling. These nominations were decided by the House Alliance (The other housemates that aren’t Dan/Steven/Angie) last week if any of them won Head of Household. Jessie decided to go along with the house because he didn’t want to piss anyone off.

I feel like Dan is an underestimated player in the game. On the feeds we have watched him sneak around the house to listen in on others conversations. Before the nomination ceremony Dan asked Jessie to use his HoH Bathroom. Jessie went downstairs and Dan left the bathroom and turned on the HoH Spyscreen immediately. When Jessie began to bring Bryan Ollie up to the HoH room Dan quickly jetted for the restroom again. Ollie and Jessie began talking about the nominations when the toilet flushed. “Is somebody in my room” Jessie asked, forgetting that he gave Dan permission to use the facilities.

After the nomination ceremony Jessie told Dan that he needs to start asserting himself back with the rest of the group. Dan made what I called the Best Move Ever in Big Brother History. The girls were all gathered in the kitchen fuming over the food competition where most of them were placed on Big Brother Slop. Dan turned around from the sink and began asking the girls about engagement rings. In an instant the girls had their minds off the game and were for the first time engaging in conversation with Dan. Dan also upped his game when in the presence of Ollie and April Dowling by joking with them about their relationship in the house. Being the “third wheel” with a power couple can be a good move early on in the game.

Angie Swindell went to the Diary Room with Keesha where apparently they talked about her personal problem and the upcoming eviction. Angie asked if Keesha was willing to change her vote. Keesha played along and said yes she’d be willing to keep Brian Hart. By playing along it confirmed to Keesha that Angie was being two-faced with the girls and she was going to take that knowledge to Libra and April later that night.

While Angie and Keesha were in the Diary Room Libra Thompson and April Dowling began speculating why Keesha would associate herself with Angie who has already been deemed an outcast by their side of the house. They spent a few minutes getting worked up over the situation. When Angie and Keesha left the Diary Room and Keesha wouldn’t speak to them they thought it confirmed that Keesha had turned. Libra went into the Hippie room to lay on her bed and think about Keesha’s betrayal. April went outside to Bryan Ollie and Michelle Costa to share her concerns.

Before heading outside Keesha confirmed with Jessie Godderz that he didn’t want Brian to stay. Jessie said there was no way he wanted Brian to stay. She told him that Angie and Steven Daigle would probably approach him about voting to save Brian and that he should play along. Keesha then went outside to sit in the patio area when she overheard April telling Bryan that Keesha had turned.

Jerry went into the Diary Room to again request an enema kit for Keesha’s personal problem. He went outside to tell Keesha that the request was in and that he would take her up to his room to get her ready. However April, Michelle, and Ollie were thinking Keesha was going to try and convince Jerry to switch his tie-breaker vote to keep Brian. Michelle asked, “What the matter Jerry? What’s going on?”

That’s when the sparks began to fly.

Keesha said that it was her personal problem. April said, “It’s obvious (that Keesha was switching sides)” Keesha in a fit of rage tossed her water across the yard and it hit Michelle. Throughout the fight Michelle kept asking why she got water thrown at her.

April told Keesha to go talk to Libra. Defending herself Keesha said she had reason to talk to Jerry. April said “That’s f*cked up” and Keesha responded, “Seriously, don’t talk shit about me. Don’t sit over there and f*cking talk shit about me.”

April didn’t take kindly to Keesha’s words and yelled, “Come over here then if you have a f*cking problem” as she began to run across the yard towards Keesha.

“Oh yea April I do have a big f*cking problem.”

“Well then open your f*cking problem is” yelled April.

“You have a big f*cking problem right now” Keesha yelled back.

Upset April ran inside to Libra and rehashed the entire fight to her. They were still convinced that Keesha had turned.

Back in the yard Jessie said that Brian was behind all of the drama (which in this case wasn’t true). He said that Brian is going to walk out the door on eviction night and there was no need to discuss it further.

Michelle approached Keesha and asked why she got water thrown at her. Keesha said she was throwing it in the yard and she was sorry it hit Michelle. Michelle kept asking the question over and over again even though Keesha had already answered it.

Keesha said, “Well it has nothing to do with you” to Michelle.

Michelle walked away and Keesha yelled, “To be honest, I can’t stand f*cking April. To be honest, I can’t stand the little bitch! Everytime I turn around she’s talking shit about me. Do no f*cking play me like I’m f*cking stupid right now. Everytime I turn around shit about me. She does not trust me at all. She doesn’t trust you (to Ollie). But she wants me with her. Mmmmm!! It’s like dude!”

Ollie said he doesn’t understand what’s going on.

“You are her are like this, I’m not a f*cking idiot” Keesha said while crossing her fingers. “Like seriously, everytime I’m walking into a room she’s talking shit about me. They act like I’m f*cking dumb.”

Michelle and Jessie console Keesha and say that it’s Brians fault that everyone is paranoid right now. Michelle said, “I just want to make sure we are all on the same page. We need to stick to the plan right now”

“But we are not,” Keesha quickly replied. “I’m not stupid. I know this! You (Ollie) have conversations with me and you know I’m not dumb, but they think I’m f*cking dumb”

“I know where you are coming from,” Ollie consoled to Keesha.

“Seriously, April and I don’t need to be around each other. It has nothing to do with any of you. Just keep her f*cking away from me.”

This week’s Head of Household, Jerry MacDonald nominated Jessie Godderz and Renny Martyn because they were the root of this season’s first conflict. Brian Hart pushed really hard for Jerry to make these nominations and forged an alliance with Jerry. Brian also had an alliance with Dan Gheesling and Bryan Ollie.

Sometime after the nomination ceremony Brian told Jerry about “The Brawny Boys” which is an codename for Jessie, Memphis Garrett, and Steven Daigle. Brian was leading Jerry into thinking about replacing one of the nominees with Memphis if the Power of Veto was used.

The first power of veto involved sticky substances and feathers. Jerry beat the competition and went on to win the first Power of Veto. Brian began getting the whole house to turn on Memphis, which most of them bought. Steven made an agreement with Brian. The agreement was Brian would convince Jerry not to nominate Steven and in turn Steven would pay favor to Brian later on in the game.

April Dowling and Ollie began to get close and eventually Ollie let out about his alliance with Dan and Brian. April told Libra Thompson, who rallied the rest of the house against Brian.

April, Ollie, Libra, Keesha Smith, Angie Swindell, Michelle Costa, Jessie, and Memphis confronted Jerry about Brian’s alliance with Dan and Ollie. Jerry got pissed that Brian created a sub-alliance without him. Jerry expected Brian to stay true to him because they both share a military past.

Holding the Power of Veto gave Jerry the opportunity to change his nominations. He took Jessie off the chopping block and nominated Brian.

The new nominees for eviction this week are Brian Hart and Renny Martyn. Who will be evicted? Stay Tuned!

While CornerOfficeX doesn’t spill who Jerry nominated, CornerOfficeX says that the Power of Veto was used to save one of the nominees!

The obvious pairs in the house are Jerry and Brian, Jessie and Memphis, Libra and Keesha. April and Ollie have also seems to have bounded, which has been noticed by the other houseguests.

Speaking of April, CornerOfficeX describes her as this year’s Jessica. He calls her a social butterfly “with a jump shot.”

Despite telling the houseguests that he’ll be the house work-out coach, Jessie and the other houseguests refuse to wake up early to work out.

“The 9″ and “The Brawny Boys” are names we will hear early on in the game.

Finally CornerOfficeX says, “This cast is smart and knows the game. They’ve already figured out you don’t always evict the easiest target.”
